Is there a Lost and Found at The Aruban Resort & Casino?
Yes, the Housekeeping department keeps items left behind for three months. Items are disposed of after 1 year.
How do I contact Lost and Found?
To confirm your item has been found, contact Lost & Found, Monday to Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Telephone: (297) 587-9000 ext. 7140 or 7141, Fax: (297) 587-3606 or email ruthlyn.g@thearuban.com . To complete the process, you’ll need to fill in a Lost & Found Authorization form for Express Mail, and fax it to us.(form can be downloaded from our web site, see Forms)
Once authorized, we will send express mail (IBC) charging the shipping costs to your credit card (Amex, Visa, MasterCard), or via Federal Express charging to your Federal Express account number. You may also authorize another individual to pick up your found items.
Is there an ATM machine at The Aruban Resort & Casino?
Yes, there is one inside the Key Largo Casino.
What is the cost of cab fare from the airport to The Aruban Resort & Casino?
The cab fare from the airport to The Aruban is around $ 22. A $3 extra charge applies after 11:00 p.m. as well as Sundays and local holidays. If there is more than one bag per person, extra luggage charges may apply.
Should we bring our own beach towels to the resort?
No need, The Aruban has towels available at the Towel Hut located next to the waterfall pool.
Can I use a laptop computer from my room?
Yes. The Aruban offers its own wireless service trough the MiO portable USB 3G modem. Rental prices and usage instructions are available at the Front Desk. For a small fee, all resort guests can also make use of the computers we have available at the Internet Station to access the internet . You cannot connect your laptop to the Internet Station’s network. (see wireless internet link)
Are there hair dryers, irons & ironing boards in the rooms?
Yes there are.
What type of barbecue grills are at the resort, and where are they generally located?
There are two gas barbecue grills located at The Aruban. Our resort layout will give you a general idea of location.
Our flight departs long after your 12 noon check-out time. Is there a place to store luggage and shower before leaving for our late flight?
After check-out time our agents at the Front Desk will provide you with keys to our hospitality room. There are showers available, towels, hairdryers, soap, shampoo etc. The Bell Staff will keep your luggage secure as long as it’s necessary.
Can we purchase a meal plan after we arrive at The Aruban or must we do it beforehand?
You may purchase the meal plan of your choice (breakfast plan, FAP or MAP) upon making your reservations so you can save time and money.
If someone needed to phone me while at The Aruban, what number would they use?
The resort phone number is (297) 587-9000 (Dial 011 if calling from the US). They should ask for you by (registered) name or room number. If there is no answer, the call will automatically be re-directed to your voicemail inbox at the resort.
Does The Aruban have wheelchairs available?
You can request a wheelchair either from the bell staff upon your arrival, or in advance by emailing hospitalitymgr@thearuban.com Please include your name, arrival time and arrival date. (Rental fees may apply)
Contact your flight attendant to arrange a wheelchair for you should you require one upon your arrival at the airport.
Does The Aruban have cribs, high chairs or strollers available?
The Aruban does have cribs and high chairs available. You can request them in advance when making the reservation or when you arrive at the Front Desk. There is a $5 per night charge for the crib. No charge for the high chair. Strollers are not available; we suggest you bring your own.

Interval International
Sometimes we can’t take a vacation and other times we can take more than one week. Is there anything we can do about that?
You have many options when using your owner time. If you’re not going to use your time at your home resort or exchange for time at another resort, you can save this year’s week and use it next year along with that year’s week. Or, you can use next year’s week along with this year’s. Remember, carry overs don’t happen automatically; you must give your week to the resort or an exchange company. Also, don’t forget you can often rent additional time at the resort where you’re staying. It’s a great way to extend your vacation. And, sometimes you can get better flight arrangements by traveling on a different day. If you do, just rent the additional time you need. When does my owner week expire?
Your owner week expires at the end of each calendar year. If you cannot use your week during that year, please call a representative Toll free to discuss your options at 1-877-250-2825 or e-mail us at member1@thearuban.com.
Can we let a guest use our suite this year?
Yes. To give them the use of your week a Guest Authorization form must first be received by The Aruban. Your maintenance fee account must be up to date for us to process this request. If you need any additional information please contact reservations@thearuban.com or call us Toll free at 1-866-350-7829. When exchaning, please contact your preferred exchange company direct.
We own Fixed Time. Do we need to make a reservation?
We suggest you confirm your week with us at 1-877-250-2825 or e-mail us at member1@thearuban.com, although the reservation for your fixed week is created automatically. Should you not occupy your fixed time and/or have made arrangements in advance to exchange, your unit will be considered forfeited, and cannot be recuperated. The maintenance fee paid for that week is non-refundable.
What kind of accommodations can be made for additional nights stay?
Please contact the Reservations department via e-mail at reservations@thearuban.com to book an additional night.
Do we have to know which resort we want to exchange into at the time we deposit?
No. But, just like making your reservation, the earlier you request a specific location, the more likely you are to get it.
We own two weeks but this year we would like to bank one of them. How do we go about this? Or what if we want to exchange for another week, at or at another resort?
For banking weeks you need to contact Interval International or the exchange company of your preference. When you bank your week, you have 2 years time in which to use it. When ready to use your deposited week, call your exchange company and they will check availability for you. The exchange company will allow you to deposit or exchange online.
We currently own a Friday to Friday suite but we now need Saturday to Saturday. Is it possible to change?
You should make your temporary In-House Exchange request at least 4 months prior to your arrival. This is based on availability. If there is no availability for an In-House exchange, you also have the option to rent additional nights to match your departure date. If you want to change your check-in date permanently, you should contact our Sales Department at 1-297-527-9194 or send us an e-mail at sales@aruban-resort.com .
